First I will explain what text Announcement is

Announcement is something that is written, printed, or spoken verbally so that other people know that the there's something happening or about to happen.

What is the function of text announcement?

the announcement function is provide the reader with information about what happened, or what will happen.

The general structure structure of announcement text:

1. Title

2. Date and Time

3. Location

4. Contact Person

There are several types of announcement such as:

1. Job vacancies
2. Announcement of missing persons

3. Celebration of an event

4. Appeal from the government 

Example:
